The Birthday Party (repost)

Steve blew out the candles on his birthday cake, and wished for a pony. A pony knocked on the door. He asked for Steve.

I told him he had the wrong house. Steve asked me who was at the door. I told him it was the repo man, here to take the cake back. Steve started to cry. I told him I was sorry, but that he should learn to manage his money better.

At that point, a seven inch woman jumped out of the cake. She shook her head angrily at Steve, as if ashamed. She started to head for the door. I grabbed a quick handful of cake and the slide whistle I had bought Steve as a gift, and followed after her. We hopped on the pony, and rode off into the sunset together, stopping only occasionally for very odd sex. But it's all right. It wasn't really Steve's birthday anyway. It was mine. And I got my wish.
